Mass-mailing worm that lowers security settings. It can delete security-related registry keys and can block access to security related websites.

The virus: Backdoor.Zagaban
Trojan horse, allowing compromised computer to be used as a proxy server, which may worsen your network performance. You could have your computer taken over by hackers or criminals.

The virus: W32/Mytob-AS, Mytob-BE, Mytob-C and Mytob-ER
This family of variations of the worm has similar characteristics in terms of what they can do. They mass-mailing worms with backdoor functionality that can be controlled via Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network. In addition, they can be distributed by e-mail and through various operating system vulnerabilities, such as LSASS (MS04-011).
